Strategies to Increase MEV Activity Transparency

The first pillar of the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) is to illuminate the workings of MEV within the Solana ecosystem. To increase transparency, SVM implements several strategies:

  • Real-Time Monitoring: Leveraging Solana's capacity for high-speed data processing to monitor transactions in real-time, allowing for the immediate detection of potential MEV activities.

  • Detailed Reporting: Providing detailed, accessible reports and analyses of MEV activities to all network participants. These reports make use of data visualizations to ensure that information is easily understandable.

  • Open Source Tools: Developing and maintaining open-source tools that anyone can use to observe and analyze MEV scenarios. This openness encourages community participation and oversight.
